This year, as part of our T&T team-building activities at 7Skies, we rolled up our sleeves for a fun and hands-on craft beer brewing experience at Kiuchi Brewery in Ibaraki.
On March 9, 2025, four team members—joined by one member’s daughter—headed to the charming brewery, set in a former sake warehouse. We brewed two unique beers: a bold IPA and a rich Stout. With guidance from the skilled staff, we weighed premium malts, crushed them, and worked through mashing, filtering, and boiling—tossing in hops for vibrant aroma.
The beers fermented and matured under Kiuchi’s expert care, arriving at our office in early May, just after Golden Week.
We also designed custom “7Skies” labels featuring a Tokyo skyline and airplane silhouette. The finished bottles looked fantastic!
At a later date, we hosted a lively tasting session. The IPA burst with fresh fruity hop notes, while the Stout charmed with deep roasted flavors and a smooth finish. Comparing the two was a highlight, and the shared experience brought the team closer over great brews.
